A last minute entry and it's really a revisit of my ribbon shot from 2007:


As you can see the sort of editing is similar. The editing is not as good as I'd like but that's what you get for last minute entries.

Selective desat is not something I usually enjoy but it works for this - good thinking!

while I like the idea of the frame I think it needed to be a real one even fro advanced editing. Over all the frame is the most interesting part of the shot the rest of the image needs a little bit more punch.

selective desat is not my type but this one looks nice and most important is done with a clear purpose

Very nicely done, and that's coming from someone who's not a fan of selective desaturation. Would like to know how the frame was held in place.
