A great blue heron, cruising down a ditch. Shot at about 5 or 10 mph, from the driver's seat on a back road with no traffic.
Manual Sigma 400mm f5.6 APO.
Basic edit with iPhoto.

Such lovely wildlife you have there in Florida! If I keep looking at your pictures I'll be moving down there before next winter, LOL!

Beautifuly shot! It's all about being in the right place at the right time. Maybe someday my out of car pics will be this good.

PS: Just don't get caught shooting while driving, otherwise they'll make that a new law in California. :)

So cool!! (Just be careful while driving!)

I do think that it's neat that his wing dips below the frame, it really does give the affect of "flying under the radar".

Wish my "out the window of the car while moving" shots turned out this good. Mine are just a big blurry mess.

I look forward to seeing more!
