| 5 - I find the OOF stick at the fore dominates too much, but the hollow and - well everything else that is in focus, is interesting. |

| I see an attempt at metaphor with this image. I dislike forced metaphors, and therefore can't appreciate this image, certainly not as fine art. Technically, a levels fix might have made it stand out more, and b/w might have made it haunting, as would framing this from further away. You're on track with the composition, but something to suggest what this is all supposed to mean -- such as starkness or loneliness, and thus a larger area of white space around the subject -- would have enhanced. |

| Originally this was a low vote from me but now that I have revisited it I like how it seems to be coming out of my screen and hanging down. A pretty cool effect. I also like the use of negative space. Bumping this vote up a bit now. |

| Lots of snow this challenge! Interesting idea, but as my eye is dragged left, I hit the OOF branch rather than the centred main subject. Hmmm. Different. |
