Alternate title: Frantic Bedtime Search for the Lost Puppy.

I had two ideas for this challenge but because of other work - I only had time to do one.

So I choose this idea. As parents I know that a great many of us have experienced this same exact situation! That bedtime rush to find that lost favorite stuffed animal - and all the while it JUST has to be the most obvious place. The last place a child thinks to look until the parent comes along:-)

Why choose a puppy as the stuffed animal when I could have used a teddy bear? The teddy bear I feel would be too on the nose and the 'lost puppy' idea plays into the idea of searching for a lost pet. Both are frantic in nature.

I might get a lot of complaints about the blur on the legs but that is very intentional for the motion conveys a sense of urgency. Or I might not only time will tell.

Things I wish I did/could do:
-Edit out that sunspot near the foot for it is annoying.
-Wish the front leg was a little more back so as to not be so close to the puppy
-Wish that I had thought to shot the legs already past the puppy to show that the child has passed by and *missed* it.
-Wish that the bed frame did not show through the blurred left leg so much.
-Wish there was more catchlight gleam in the puppy's eyes. Only used a small flashlight when I should have used a larger one.

Hmmm- I think that will just about cover most of the critical comments I will get with this one.

Wow that is surprisingly clean for underneath a child's bed. I love the idea and the movement in the frantic search for Fluffy. Great shot :)

can't vote...but would like you to know how pleased i am you went with the color version. love the title, the urgency, the "feel" of the photo. As well the technical quality is excellent, love the colors, the composition, and not too heavy on the pp. would have scored an 8 from me, nice job.
