| I didn't even notice the lips/background effect of this shot until I went through the comments. Now that I see it, it only adds to the overall effect! |

At first I didn't care for the high key treatment of this shots subject. However, the more I look at it the more I appreciate the more interesting crop and composition that you used here! The skin tones are just a touch overexposed losing the definition on the left side of her nose. Beautiful catch lights and nice hair lighting!

| This is over all a great image, the lighting is great, the only thing I see that would possibly need corrected is the face is too close to the side of the shot, an attempt to not be too centered is my guess. A wonderful subject, her facial features are wonderful, her hair coloring and facial tones are outstanding. 6 |

Lighting: Well balanced, but a bit too harsh on her skin. The catchlights make for a strong expressiveness in the eyes.
Pose: The pose is good, but I think the crop should have placed her more toward the center.
Background: The background completments the various shades of red throughout the image. Nicely chosen. |

| really shouldn't have cropped the left side of her face, it makes her look distorted. Other than that, this would have been great. The colors are great. |

| Lovely lighting and color. The crop adds interest to the subject. I wonder if using a longer lens would help minimize the apparent exaggeration of her nose? Little noise in the background evident on my screen. |

This is a very well taken photo. Lighting is awesome and the color of the background is perfect.

| Your model is gorgeous but looks like she does NOT want to be there. Background colors work very well. Suggest you reconsider using white clothing for shots like this. |

| Model's placement and expression add a lot of tension in this photo. This may be be a desired representation of her personality or mood, but if not it seems a departure from the main goal of portraiture which I see as representing the person in a somewhat "timeless" way, with less emphasis on immediate events or circumstances. |

Janet looks nice, very soft, but on her forehead, at the hairline it looks a bit strange.
And I don't know why, but her face looks like its "curved" I dont know how to explain it..
But, nice picture. |

I like the off centre placement in this image..gives it that vital bit of difference.
Nice soft lighting and good colour matching (lipstick and background.)
It might be too unconventional for some..but I like it. |

| The colors in this are great. I love the way the background brings out her coloring. I also like the left-side position but one thing bothers me a bit. I'd like to see just a bit of space to the left of her. Now it feels like she's got her head against a wall or door listening. |

| The model is pretty and has great coloring. Nice background. I just feel that her face is a bit distorted. It looks like you came in very close with a normal or slightly wide angle lens. |

| Not too crazy about the left sided crop on her face. Seems it should be more or less of her face showing. Also she's very fair skined and the white shirt washes her out. I'd like to see her hair played up with more lighting. Good entry and I hope you do well ..good luck. |
