A clay figurine of a jaguar, drenched in rain with a freeze-motion at an instant when a drop burst on his brow.

In this case, "rain" was me pouring water over him from a plant watering bucket. Lighting was a halogen desk lamp for the blurred-in rain, then a couple small flash and judicious reflectors for the freeze-frame.

Doesn't feel like stopped motion... if it's about the splash on the forehead, it is hardly noticeable. I like the overall dynamics of this picture but not from the viewpoint of stopped motion.

Hmmm... not sure what I am looking at (admittedly I am a dork). I don't get a lot of motion out of this. Maybe I will understand if you put in comments on this one.
