At first I thought it was fabric then realised it was water & a toothbrush. Love the liquid metal look of the water |

Wonderful contrasts here. The shapes of the bubbles against the shape of the bristles. The areas in focus against those out of focus, etc. It was great to share a place in the the Spring Catalogue with you. |

This was one of the 3 10's I gave in this challenge. You have a wonderful way of bringing everyday objects to life. |

Sumptuous mercury/mercurial bubbles summoned up by the ecstatic use of a toothbrush. Deep and original. |

WOW, what a great idea--product shots for a catalog of abstract art! I love it!
I have voted 8 on most of the abstract catalog entries including this one. Four of them I thought were stunning abstracts so I gave them 10s.
I understand that some people are upset about this set of entries. One of the important functions of contemporary art is to raise issues and push boundaries. This often gets people upset. Hang in there! |

I like the way you take a tooth brush and make a beautiful photo out of it. Great. |

I LOVE the way the bubbles look here. They have a definite texture, a richness. I have a shot somewhere I took with just the bubbles - the addition of a toothbrush is quite brilliant! (Commenting only.) |

I just don't get why a collective would try to do a series of abstracts for a Product Shot challenge with the image itself as the product. Propose an Abstracts challenge. |

This makes me think about my favourite fantasy. Loads of ants cleaning my teeth in the morning. Like little slaves. But they are just doing their job. Nano ants. I like it. As long as they don't rebel. (God i was more than tipsy whilst commenting last night!) |

Wow! A toothbrush never looked so damn good. That's just beautiful. I never would have thought I'd find myself saying that over an object so prosaic. Congratulations, that's lovely. 9 |

Excellent abstract, the toothbrush wasn't immediately recognizable. Getting the right amount of puzzle without making it a complete enigma is not easy. Good job! |
