I knew the designer and builder of the Yakima Clipper, Charlie McAlister, and his airplane from the time I was 10 years old until he died about 1992, in Yakima, WA. The Yakima Clipper is now hanging in the Seattle Museum of Flight at Boeing Field, courtesy of the McAlister Museum of Flight in Yakima, WA. The aircraft in this photo is not the Yakima Clipper, which is a mahogany fuselaged sailplane with yellow vertical stabilizer and wings. |

I like this image. The muted colours, angle and background add an almost abstract feel but don't detract from the subject. |

Love this shot. The perspective and angle are great. |
