 Spring is here, and that means baseball is just around the corner. I was trying to achieve a few things with this shot:
- Just the basic equipment of a bat, glove, and balls (all you really need for a game). Also, I grabbed the most used stuff I had.
- Intimate feeling with the low angle and relatively small depth of field
- Timelessness - no players, or logos. Having "American Classic" partly worn off felt like it added to this as well.

I feel you could have included more obviously recognizable equipment here to tie in better with the title and what you're trying to convey. Perhaps the inclusion of a bat and a mit would have helped (sorry if my terminology isn't right, I'm a rugby guy!).
