Happy with 9th place. Odd thing I notice is that my entry only received 138 votes. That is amongst the very lowest amount of votes in this challenge where the average is around 148 votes.

My top-rated shot for this challenge. I love the Bird of Paradise, and have an idea of just how difficult it is to get a really good shot of it. This is masterfully done. Nice job.

Lovely. Perfect focus. I am not a fan of the orange border. I've noticed that is the newest trend here on DPC. I think if you are going to do it, desaturate it about 60% and you still get the hint of color, but it doesn't compete with the subject: that beautiful bird of paradise. 7
