The most extraordinary feat, for me, in taking the photo was managing to have one of the bubbles NOT 'pop' when I stuck the scissor end into it. Used up half a bottle of washing up liquid in my effort!
It was fun to do.
Some very nice comments and interesting thoughts expressed. Thank you. My 4th submission and an improvement in my scores. Not worried about scores overall, but very much enjoying the challenges and the inspiration gained by viewing the creativity of other submissions to the site.

An exceptionally strong and carefully crafted photograph. I guess it must have taken ages to capture. I wanted more reflections in the bubble. The scissors are great. Imaginative members will see the hungry, stainless steel alien about to devour the bubble. The impressive moment on camera here is is the dent on the surface tension of the bubble. Now what did my old Science teacher tell me about water boatmen? Enjoyed this one - thank you. |

The dark tones and oversaturated colors give this image an otherworldly feeling, enhancing its message. A bit messy, though. |

I like the lighting, but it makes it a little bit hard to see the bubble. Good job. I have tried to shoot bubbles before and I know how fickle they can be. |

You made me take a bit longer just trying to figure out what is in the photo. It is interesting, but the more I look at it, the less I want to. The myriad of little bubbles really hurt the photo itself. Although I did enjoy the challenge at first of trying to figure out what I was looking at. |
