Of course you didnt captured this explosion since there is no smoke and, given the speed of burn of powders, you would need a high speed flash shot of about
1/1.000.000 second to freeze this image. Anyway good inventive.

It seems to me like standing still... if I am correct, you have it all laying on a yelow surface, with sand spread like in a explosion. I mean this because no fire light is present, and I had made many experiments like this and always appears the "bloom" with moving particle lights. |

Is the firecracker supposed to be going off here? Hard to tell. If it is, there are no sparks, which makes it just look like a broken firecracker. |

I think this is a pretty original idea and it's refreshing to see people thinking about their shots. I dont particularly like the choice of background colour because it competes too much with the powder.. something a bit darker would have suited it better. 7 |

Black Cats from the corner are a good interesting composition.......... the empty unusual yellow back some how visually limits the depth of the explosion. |
