 a Meikai 4351R, one of those dime-a-dozen toy plastic cameras, takes 35mm film

Have not a clue when it was made, but guessing late 50's or 60's? I have found several other Meikai's mentioned in web searches, but none that look exactly like this, so can't quite pin down an approximate year of manufacture.

the case it comes with is of clearly better quality!

works, so far as I can tell - I'll see if I can't take some images with it later this month

Unfortunately, those dime-a-dozen plastic toy comeras now sell new for $30 - $50! (Diana & Holga)
