You had me fooled. The low angle and tilt suggested to me this could have been a bvy entry. It's starting to concern me a little that I seem to be liking the same stuff Posthumous does. |

I tried to figure out what I don't like about the picture. But then I noticed that I spent a long time exploring it - exactly what you wanted, right? So guess it worked :) |

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives: Stand-out post processing (a Nik filter?). The tilt works really well too. The main subject is compelling enough but for me the scene / environment is the star here.
Critical stuff: Not much at all.
Overall: An interesting and successful image. |
