Beautiful portrait. The natural (I assume) lighting really is gorgeous. I might change the central composition a bit, but otherwise everything is perfect. |

One of my ribbon picks this challenge - just a great expression and your use of light is right on the money. Going in my favorites as well. |

Gorgeous. If an oil painting, it would certainly be hanging in a museum. Perhaps it will as a photo also. A 10. |

First class image..the lighting is superb..my only reservation is the centre composition. When I blot out the lefthand side of the image (from the edge of the hair back) leaving the child looking into dark negative space it adds impact (for me). I stress that this is only personal preference and I am no expert in portraiture..but I do know that this image will finish with a high placing as it is an excellent piece of work |

Very sweet portrait. I like the lighting very much. You can picture the window just in front of her eyes as she looks out and dreams. Very nice. |

Very sweet! Excellent lighting to set the mood, great catchlight in the eyes. The b&w treatment really contributes to the feeling of the shot and the composition is spot on! |

Really, really beautiful. If the background was more even (black all the way around) I think this would have been a 10, but it's still really great. 8 for now, and I might come back and rate it higher.
Good luck! |
