 Took this on Sunday whilst exploring with my kids.
Is a bit of an experiment as I have never submitted something like this before, but the desat brings out the leaves a bit. A shame about the green on the boots, but what the heck.
In photoshop I did an auto levels, then I desaturated the colours Rec, cyan, blue & Mageta, and reduced the saturation on Yellow a bit to get the rid of all colours except green.
Next step was Crop. then Change image size. Made the frame & sharpened!!

I don't care for the desaturation effect, but otherwise the leaves are cool.

When I first saw this image, the book "Lord of the Flies" came immediately to mind. Great use of desat. :o)

By using the desaturation, it has caused the tops of the leaves to look blown out, which makes me look at what is apparently white space instead of seeing the focus on the leaves themselves.
