OK... this is NOT ordinary... this thing is SCARY... no kidding! It is the ground part of "Masters of Disaster" airshow. This thing is loud and obnoxious, and anything but normal...

Cropped... desat blues, cyans, and greens, tiny bump up of sat on other colors (just slightly), resized, double sharpen.

I don't really think this is that great of a photo... but hey it is EXTRAORDINARY... and if someone says its off challenge I'm going to laugh REALLY hard!

Oh yeah... don't tailgate this guy, for your own safety ;-)

Nice lighting and exposure. Slim Jim frame is very effective for this image.

Good advice! This is certainly extraordinary. The photo seems a bit flat; lightening the midtones with Levels or Curves might help.

maybe less crop on the right...to show the extent of the flame...

Two challenges in a row, this chap will be charging DPC modeling fees soon! I think the crop is a little tight on this shot, and I would have liked to see a little blur in the wheels, or something to show the movement. I assume he is moving as the flames on the stacks are going backwards in this shot, and weren't in the newspaper challenge. A slower shutter speed maybe..

Full marks on your title. Why not crop a little longer so that we get the fulll impact of tailgating? Either way, this is an exciting pic.

This is what I need to get to work! It would make my one hour drive a little shorter!

Would have liked to see all the fire in the shot ... but still nice. 7

I like the composition of this image.. however it's way underexposed. That truck should be bright colours and it isn't.. it looks muddy

Wasn't this in last week's challenge too? I like this one better.

Very cool. Can't tell if it's moving or still.

wasn't this on the last challenge too??

This looks very similar to a shot in the Newspaper challenge. I like the capture of the the waveriness in the air the heat causes. Kind of a static looking viewpoint though.
