 Oh man, I think this is going to do poorly.
I have never ever done something like this before and indoor lighting is my greatest weakness! I think I learned some things doing this shoot, but I am still "in the dark" about lighting. Pun intended :-)

I actually kind of like this shot, but I am sure that more experienced photographers can find flaws in this image that I can't even think of.
Is it obvious enough that it is a hairbrush?
I am kind of expecting a 4 on this one. Will definitely be very pleased with a 5.

No real editing done here. A crop and converted to Black and White.

definately black on black but not a very appealing shot with the hairs tangled in the brush, I gave you a 6 :)

like this - interesting image, I like the tonal range that makes the ends of the bristles almost glow - 8
