 Waiting.... for the administration of justice. Don't do the crime, if you can't do the time. This is a candid street photograph capturing the extreme tension of being caught speeding and the subsequent issuing of a ticket. Actually, it is the revenue enhancement program of our village. LOL!!! While the waiting for a speeding ticket is not long, it seems extended because of the stress and embarrassment. The guy was sorry he was caught.

A footnote: There was a minor snowstorm in process. Because of the fast shutter speed, I've frozen the snowflakes in the air. It adds good texture and detail to the image, but might be a distraction to some. Acknowledged!

Not exactly sure what is so awful about this image to justify such a low score. I think voters are seeing the passenger cop in the cruiser and thinking that is the person waiting. I intended the image to present the driver waiting nervously & tensely, while the ticket is written. It's my fault for posting an image which is ambiguous.

I received a lot of DNMC 1 votes in the first 20. I'd like to know what caused people to cast DNMC votes. Please let me know why this was not close to meeting the challenge.
