This is the 121 pound, 8 oz. blue cat caught earlier this year at Lake Texoma. She now lives in a nice little tank at the Texas Freshwater Fish Hatchery in Athens TX. Can you imagine hooking that sucker? Look at it using those kids as reference for scale. Jeez!

Technically, this is NOT a good photo. Even I know that. Bad light, no tripod, noise...but it's the most extraordinary thing I caught on film this week. Oh well! :o)

Whoa, that's one big catfish! Fish and the two kids look's underexposed though.

The fish is extraordinary, but I don't think the image really conveys that. For one, the spectators seem uninterested. Also, the catfish is too dark relative to the rest of the image, drawing the focus away from it.
