looks more like shallow DOF, than soft focus. Nice colors though

v ery beautiful, love the colours. I think this might have been even better with a deeper dof. It's got a really nice soft feel to it. Good luck!

Stunning abstract. Focus and DOF are right on. I can see a little colour of the wing peeking through and that is one the really fine points of this image. What I could wish for is just a bit more detail showing in her head. and that it wouldn't be necessary to have to explain the process in the title! sigh

Soft Focus on wings a bit overdone for my liking. But a nice shot all the same.

I would like greater depth of field, as the body and flowers are in relatively sharp focus. Alternatively, by focusing at a lesser distance, everything could have been in soft focus.

The wings are such a dramatic part of the subject that to have them out of focus detracts from the image.
