Geggjuð mynd, tekur hinar tvær sem eru á undan í ósmurt ****gatið. Maður fær alveg á tilfinningunni að hraunið sé að fara slettast yfir hann Jóa.

Thanks Jim, but no I have not tried the video yet. I might try it on the new version of volcano in Eyjafjallajökull.

Thanks again for the comments!

First time I have seen this, but it's awesome. I'm not sure how the commenter who thinks it doesn't meet the challenge came to that conclusion. Even in Iceland I think volcanoes are a little out of the ordinary!

Very cool! with the motion trails it seriously looks like that guy is going to get splashed.... actually it looks like you are going to because the larger chunks give the illusion of being much closer then they are.

When this first started loading on my slow laptop and all I got was the top portion I thought 'ho hum - another volcano shot' (lots lately). By the time I got the whole picture I was blown away! I sure hope that guy wasn't photographing someone even closer! The colours, movement and subject are perfectly captured. You should sell this to National Geographic. Your title is great and this is truely Out of the Ordinary. Well done!

Why did you waste your time putting this in a challenge??? Why not just sell it right to NATGEO for megabucks!
