eta: There were a lot of bees buzzing around this red maple tree and I took quite a few shots - this one turned out the best of the bunch. Thanks for the kind comments!

Love all the red tones! I know how small those flowers are; I like the DOF with just that one flower and bud and peeking leaf (and the bee, of course) in focus.

What really sets this apart from the typical bee macro is the glorious salmon red color. Just fabulous. I'd love this on a HUGE canvas!! Good luck. 8
