Seems both a little soft, and a little on the dark side. I do really like the depth of field, and the colors. Nice pose as well.

Very cute. I never give points for cute but OMG how could you not. adorable kid, what an expression. Love that you gave it an overcast feel even though it wasobviously a nice day.

B/W conversion would serve this shot best IMHO.

A cute photo. It feels like more of a snapshot than a modeling portfolio type shot.

Im afraid its to much of a snapshot for me and she looks distressed. 4

Well this is not shot in a studio so I voted it a 2 as it clearly does not meet the challenge as far as I am concerned. I think that is a shame as it´s a pretty good shot, her expression makes me connect on an emotional level, wich is rare in this challenge.

It's not something I'm going to buy and put on my wall, but it's definitely a shot worth cherishing. Remember those photos we see of our parents or grandparents? There's something very modern classic about it. Something nostalgic.

I would imagine it has something to do with the beautiful girl's eyes and her doll. Some would say that the lighting could be improved, but the longer I look at the photo the less those technical lighting issues are recognizable. The DOF and composition frames and leads you straight to her gaze.

She is precious! What a face!! Your background is a bit busy even with the shallow dof and there are a lot of hot spots on it. Nonetheless she is without a doubt too cute for words!!

That is one angelic face

not technically a studio or portfolio shot imho, but good use of the shallow depth of field.
