Seems both a little soft, and a little on the dark side. I do really like the depth of field, and the colors. Nice pose as well. |

Very cute. I never give points for cute but OMG how could you not. adorable kid, what an expression. Love that you gave it an overcast feel even though it wasobviously a nice day. |

B/W conversion would serve this shot best IMHO. |

A cute photo. It feels like more of a snapshot than a modeling portfolio type shot. |

Well this is not shot in a studio so I voted it a 2 as it clearly does not meet the challenge as far as I am concerned. I think that is a shame as it´s a pretty good shot, her expression makes me connect on an emotional level, wich is rare in this challenge. |

It's not something I'm going to buy and put on my wall, but it's definitely a shot worth cherishing. Remember those photos we see of our parents or grandparents? There's something very modern classic about it. Something nostalgic.
I would imagine it has something to do with the beautiful girl's eyes and her doll. Some would say that the lighting could be improved, but the longer I look at the photo the less those technical lighting issues are recognizable. The DOF and composition frames and leads you straight to her gaze. |

She is precious! What a face!! Your background is a bit busy even with the shallow dof and there are a lot of hot spots on it. Nonetheless she is without a doubt too cute for words!! |

not technically a studio or portfolio shot imho, but good use of the shallow depth of field. |
