 First exposure is the flash triggered in my hand. Jenn then covered the lens with a black card. While it was covered I plugged in and pulled taut a string of Christmas lights and started swirling them. Jenn uncovered the lens for two seconds and then replaced and closed the shutter.

I could have entered an almost minimal editing version, but there was some blue flare in the middle of the picture. I was able to remove it through selective color.

I have utterly sucked so far in DPL. I'm hoping this is the first decent score.
