A difficult scent for b&w. There are fewer contrasts than you would like and it would be difficult to separate the individual components. You have the makings of a good sky but need to give it more drama.

Your title makes me want to see more field and the texture that is there. I like the shades in the trees but I feel like they dominate the scene when the title indicates the field and barns as the main subject.

2 things...the trees seem be a little crispy, and your tones are a bit flat/dull

Your details are well captured. They could be further brought out with "local contrast enhancing" unsharp masking, and even an inverted S-curve could also make visibly pleasing changes. The significant highlights are not bright enough, so you're not getting the advantage of the full range of tones.
