Unfortunately I'm not in agreement with some of the comments posted. I will agree that you have a very good set-up on the model and the natural lighting in your photo, but in light of the contest that you are entering, the main issue for any marketer would be their product and the advertising of it. By leaving the photo with little contrast and color variations you have taken the element of the product away. Try, instead, to focus on a particular product that is included in your image, eg. the sweater, the shoes, etc., and 'sell' that product in your image. If it might be the sweater, then you will need to portray an accurate rendering of the colors of the sweater. Also, keep the contrast to a point where you can see the textures and weave of the sweater. Don't get me wrong, I love the set-up, your model's expression, the lighting and the relaxed pose of your subject, but my business is marketing and I'm in the business of selling....like you. Great job, keep it up! |

I had high hopes for this as well as you know from my comment during the challenge. 8.3 from commenters is the score this really deserves. |

Technical perfection usually wins out at DPC but had actual fashion editors voted I'd expect this to have fared far better. What some of the flawless images lacked was personality and presence, which this has in spades. |

Love the tones and overexposed look in this - Very nice and the model has done a good job looking interesting and whimsical. |

I think the blown out highlights give this shot really add to its effect. Great image. |

If this was a Goth fashion shot the stocking holes would have been OK, in this case they ruin what in my opinion would have been an excellent high key fashion shot. |

I love the duotone and high key but those two specks to the right are pulling my focus more than the rip in her stocking!! |

I like the cross processed look and tones, helps to add emotion to the shot. |
