| Without the title I wouldn't have guessed anything about defeat. Usually faces convey defeat, but we don't see any faces here. |

| Love the DOF and the black and white. Subject could be just a bit more in focus. Other than that ...great shot! |

| Sorry looks like a set up shot, not candid enough for capturing real action (unless it is not, in which case let me know and I will apologize duly, but only aptly). Technically it a superb shot though, so you will get credit for that. 6/10. |

| Great shot - a bit bright on the top (backboard area) but controlling light outside is difficult with reflective surfaces. |
