 There is this little field near my place, looks like it hasn't been used in years. It has small benches for each team that look like they haven't seen paint in a while.

The glove was my oldest boy's from years ago when he was in t-ball. But I couldn't find a ball. I was going to buy a brand new one, but was worried it would feel out of place.

When I go to the (for sand than anything else) field, I found a ball "Abandoned" in some heavy weed/grass along the fence. This turned out to be far better than a brand new ball, and gave me the feel I was going for.

There just aren't kids playing baseball like their used to be.
