Yes, the boy took it on the noggin. Maybe would have caught that with a faster body. Never considered my camera slow until I spent an hour at this game.

I voted this a 5.

The image had some real potential especially based on the amount of pixels you had to start with. To me the catcher and all the dead space in between the two players does nothing for this photo. take a nice vertical crop of the batter with the ball in the air, it eliminates the dead space and the distractions in the background and you have a much stronger image. And yes the timing could be a touch better, but there is still the sense of anticipation and action to it that draws the viewer in.

One of my highest votes. Had excellent elements of action. Underrated.

Look out! Great moment to capture. Great expression and emotion. Super sharp. Cropped perfectly. I really like this one.

great moment, nice work with the exposure. in reality, you could have cut the photo in half, delivering simply a vertical of the batter. the tendency is to include the whole thing, but all the dead space in the middle is too distracting.

Sharp, clean, great colors, AND it has action. 7/10!

Love this one. Great timing. Perhaps not the best composition, but I think this is what sports shots should be like. Well done.
