 For lighting I actually used a lighted mirror and just placed it to the side, it doesn't have very harsh lighting so that's why I used it instead of another kind of light. It was more of a soft glow but it gave me the result I wanted. As far as post processing goes, I used Photoshop CS3, a deep red photo filter, and levels to get the to have more life and to give it more contrast across the board. I cropped it some as well.
