 This gentlemen had 'attitude' and I couldn't help but take his picture.

Processing: Nik Efex Pro B/W conversion, crop, resize, border.

About the border: Some folks commented that I probably was getting thrashed for it (they are probably correct), but I feel it is a necessary ingredient to the shot, as if the face of "Hitchcock" is being blacked out by one of those black marks on photos where peoples faces are hidden. Without the border, it just looks awkwardly cropped to me....

Spotted this as I was scrolling through recently commented images. I didn't vote on hidden gem and did not have time to even look after the fact. However, I am glad I found it now. Excellent observation.

Holy cow, how did I miss this? This is wonderful! I like the odd contrasts - the suit, the cigar, the buildings - then the out of time blue jeans and back pack. Crop and border suit this very well in my opinion.

Unfortunately missed this during voting. Great capture, maybe border (style is perfectly matching here) is a bit bold (some letterbox haters out there).

yes...you've definitely transformed USP into another world...one of mystery and intrigue...i was unfortunately brought back to today's reality by the Met cap and that damn Swooshâ„¢. excellent contrasts...so a great b/w. I was going to say something about the letterbox and philosophical merit, and HCB farting dust...but what the hell do i know. I'm probably just bitter because I'm sitting at a 3.8 in this challenge ;) - 8
