 Don't usually like foreground bokeh but this guy posed so nicely in a gap in the branches I couldn't resist him.

PP - straightened, cropped, white balance, levels, increased contrast and saturation, reduced noise, resized, sharpened with more noise reduction, added border.

It's too bad about the big dark patch. The squirrel in nice and sharp and has an interesting pose.

Great capture. One of the few examples I have seen where the bokeh creates drama rather than a peaceful addition of color, and does so in a way that adds to the image. I do think that the title is necessary for this one. I might find that the bokeh takes away from the image, if it wasn't perfectly clear that the dramatic effect was intentional. Fortunately, the intention is made perfectly clear. Your squirrel is "surrounded" indeed.

Good placement of the squirrel in the frame and nice bokeh (framing the squirrel). The squirrel seems a bit over sharpened though.
