It is so sad looking at this. 24 years of Life, gone too soon without living to his full potential, and fighting in a seemingly endless war in a distant land. Respectful capture, and never forget how many rows there are behind Joshua. Thank you for sharing your vision. The statement within the photograph needs to be said. |

I'm afraid this photograph gives me no particular reason to care about Joshua Brent Showalter. If there's some logic behind your decision to focus on his grave, it doesn't come through. As it is, it looks like a random choice of innumerable similar gravestones, with the only purpose of showing the name being an attempt to create some kind of emotional impact--which, because of its apparently arbitrary nature, does not work. |

Nice shot and sentiment but as far as bokeh it's a little too bright to be appealing to my eye. |
