I came across this bridge while driving around south of Grand Forks, ND recently. It was just by chance that I stopped and took a bunch of different pictures of this playing with some HDR techniques and am really glad that I did. All of the pictures that day were bracketed with 5 exposures.

1. Batch processed in PhotoMatix after fine tuning settings using a different picture
2. Imported into Lightroom
3. Used spot removal tool to get rid of several spots (rainy day and all)
4. Exported into Photoshop CS5 and used Topaz DeNoise to get rid of the HDR noise generated by the overlapping pictures
5. Imported back into Lightroom and then saved as JPG at full size
6. Finally resized using Photo Gadget Pro to DPC requirements

Thanks for posting the originals. I haven't been around too much this summmer so just finally got back for a second look. I find it interesting how much of a difference there is when you combine the shots. I like the effects on the bridge. The deep saturation of the greens is a little over the top for my taste.

I have to say that I am EXTREMELY disappointed that this one didn't do a lot better. The week started off with a high 7 and held for about 24 hours before being dragged down sub-six. Too bad I was a week off for the HDR challenge as I think I put up 2 very good HDR images for the 2 challenges the week before it came out. I really expected this one to do better and it amazes me that anyone would vote this with anything less than a 5. To get 3 2s and 2 3s and 12 4s is really a testament to how people must really be jaded on this site. And to think the 5.5 should be considered average as the midpoint between the bottom of the scale and the top.

For Prism, I have placed the 5 images I used to make up this picture below. The 2nd one is probably what it closest to an original if I hadn't HDR'd it and added the post processing.

7 from me. Looks like a good setup shot. Not something you just snapped. The post processing is also very good. I could pop this up to an 8 depending on what I come across in later voting.
