| Hmmm... is that fly really purple? The coloring in this photo seem fake to me, so it doesn't do the photo much justice. I truly love the blue highlights in the flower, but the purple elsewhere is unappealing to me. Would have been better for another challenge without the purple (in my opinion). |

Was this done in camera with a filter? If it was done in PS it seems rather against the spirit of the challenge. Anyone can turn something purple in PS.
Photographically, I'm not sure how much the addition of purple adds to this shot. The brownish don't make a particulalry dynamic background. A closer crop might be more striking. |

| Nice attempt. I like the red background but the purple bee and pollen doesn't go well with me. Excellent photo but I ask you, "would the colors be edited this way had it not been for the challenge?" |
