 Hi everyone! Thank for the comments especially Sirashley - happy to know that I'm his only 10 :D

The background thingies that look like bacilli are multicolored metallic screws. I did some selective desat on the foreground and adjusted the hue/saturation for the background which is light green/chrome originally. There were two sets of lights used here, a led flashlight for the foreground and a table lamp for the background. The latter being my favorite for most of the shots I submitted for the challenges. The screws being elongated and the light that shone on the threads gave the shape and circles of confusion that is seen here.

I thought this was a cool idea (gave it a 7), but the purple spots didn't work for me. How did you make the background?

Okay, this is the first shot that made me stop and think... "Wow... This is really imaginative..." So Thank You for a great shot that ventures outside the realm of conventional thought... my only 10

Love the sharpness and lighting in the foreground. Not sure how I feel about the green bacteria-like thingies in the background.
