| I love the composition and the mood that this image creates. The focus seems a bit soft. Is this intentional? I wonder if sharper focus would really push out the texture. |

| It'ssharp, interesting and purple. IMHO - the scalloped leaf on the left competes with your vein patterns in the main leaf. |

| i know the photos could suggestion purple, but to me, this came out completely blue. I know that different calibrations of monitors + eyesight can affect the judgement of this so I'm sorry if that's the case, but the colour to me did not even vaguely represent purple. on the upside, I really loved the composition of the shot. A really nice macro! |

| This photo is coming across as more blue on my monitor. Nonetheless, the colors are captivating. I'd give it a 7! |

| This is so close to blue rather than purple but I can see a touch of purple in here so it just passes the color test. That over and done with it is absolutely gorgeous. The leaf edge on the left makes it more than just another leaf vein photo. Also the lighting is wonderful. I give this an 8. |

| This is an excellent macro - the lighting and composition is very good. Unfortunately I wonder if there's enough purple to make this image score high in a purple challenge. |

| Looks pure "electric" blue on my monitor, but I am "giving you the doubt". It is a perfect shot and fascinating to look at. |

| I don't know if it just my moniter but all I see is blue but every other entry I have seen so far looks like purple so maybe it is your moniter. hmmmm... It also doesn't suggest purple to me. I still like the picture though. |
