 I have to say I'm super happy with how this shot turned out. I hope it does well on DPC! My family had a good laugh over it!

I came up with the idea mid-week and my wife thought it hilarious. Spent the weekend tracking down a miniature toilet and finally located a dollhouse store in the Mt. Pleasant area. Picked up a toilet and a miniature newspaper (bonus!). I then stopped by the local grocery store and grabbed the largest peanut butter container I could (looking back, maybe I should have gone for extra chunky :P) and a handful of peanuts.

The peanut 'worker' was done by poking holes in the shell, and then cutting one of my wife's hair bands into strips, to form the arms. I inserted them into the holes and glued the other ends to the newspaper. The rest of the setup was done by placing the toilet into the peanut butter, placing the peanut worker in the bowl and then laying out a blanket to create the background. Thanks to VitaminB for suggesting an alternative background. My original one was done in the bathroom against white tile:


Shot in my solarium, I used bounce flash to light the peanut and got in nice and close with my new lens. The rest of the lighting is from the sun outdoors.
