A very nice macro of a pansy or jumping jack? Great colors - well saturated. Black background was a perfect choice.

I really like the starkness of this shot. The crispness of the edges is quite dramatic. The little white specs do detract from the crispness of the colour. A little bit of cloning would make a huge difference to this shot. Great shot all the same.

Nice, simple, good bg. I think I would have lightened the flower up a bit. Still nice.7

the light is really beautifull here and the black background works great. A bit to centered for my taste but this woudl be difficult to compose. Due to the green strand i'd like to have it more to the bottom right, but that woudl make it look like it was about tofall off. Having it higher wouldn't work either as the strand woudl be lost, and i like that. Guess you came up with the ultimate composiiton after all. Centerd or not .

Strong contrast but the highlights in the center and also the stem seem a bit overexposed (and yes my monitor is calibrated). Noticeable effects of sharpening. Also would've cloned out the white specks (dust?) on the petals. Composition feels slightly heavy to the leftside also due to the stem. Would've placed the flower offcenter to the right to balance it.
