Photographer’s Notes So okay, this image isn’t like me … or rather it isn’t like what I traditionally shoot. In this season’s DPL, shooting what I normally shoot isn’t working, so it’s time to break out of the mold and try something else.
I had another candidate, which I liked a lot. It’s a subtle image, with nice tones, interesting textures, provocative shadows. It’s more like me … my team was split on which I should enter. So, I’m going bold.
One of my team members said he saw my image a few minutes ago and can’t get it out of his head. May it will work that way with voters and they’ll come back time and again to bump their vote.
Maybe it will frighten our younger members? Or our older ones? I hope it sticks with you, visits your dreams, and compels you to come back and bump up your scores!
