 I had to do a fashion shoot for my college project with a couple of classmates. While one of them was shooting with the flashes I was just assessing shots so I would be ready when it was my turn with the lights.

I really liked how this actually came out!! I added more noise with the piano masked out, converted to black and white.

I don't expect this to do well at all, if it gets into the 5's I'd be very surprised! I hope to get some comments though, good or bad ..... though I do expect some comments to say I should run it through noise ninja, lol.

the pose is awesome and i personally really like the choice of some grain - but I imagine it may not sit well with others

Great pose and vantage point. I'm not sure how I feel about the noise. It does seem to add a bit of nostalgia, but doesn't seem evenly apply 9really only visible on the skin).

While I like your host I feel that the grain size that you have used here detracts from the shot. You have the smooth texture of the piano and a lovely young sophisticated women, so if you wanted to add grain I would have chosen a finer grain.

Has potential but technically has many issues. Blown highs, plugged and noisy shadows, cutoff limbs, disconnect between model and piano, DOF issues (I think you need more of it in the foreground at the piano. Just the back half is in focus). I like your choice of B&W and the shinyness of the piano body.
