Since I use aperture priority, the camera decided on 8 seconds. I only had the light on it for 1 to 2 seconds.

The dark BG is good for this subject, and the side flash shows the texture in the lower area. Am I reading the data right, 8 second exposure?

I can't say for sure, but it just looks like part of the pinecone. It doesn't rub off.

I was contemplating flagging this for nudity, but then I'd have to hide it for a TOS violation, so I think I'll just compliment you on your perspective and move on ... ;-)
