Using a home-made 4x5 cam and Fujifilm 4x5 instant packfilm, with a zone sieve installed - a zone sieve is a lot of holes arranged in the same way that the transparent rings of a zone plate are. It is similar to a zone plate in the look it produces, but lets a bit less light through, so you need a slightly longer exposure than with a zone plate.

Took many tests to get it right (and yes, "right" is relative) - I had light leak problems, and had to keep making adjustments to the camera to control the leaks. Now that I can see something on the film (!), I see I now have a vignette problem, particularly with the upper right corner. Haven't figured out how to fix that yet...

An interesting peek into your library. While blurry, there seems to be an underlying sharpness. It is glowing effect, and I like it.

I rather like the vignette, though I agree it's a little top right heavy. Keep experimenting and perfecting this.

Ton of detail. I use similar (same but different size?) Fujifilm in a polaroid back for Mamiya RB67. I like the contrast this stuff exhibits, and, relatively speaking you can see it here as well. I think you may need to make the bottom left corner cluster of holes wider, or greater in number. That should decrease the vignette in the upper right corner of the image.

I need to dig out my Mamiya body cap! Thanks for the reminder Karen!
