not so sharp, but i have no had the time to shot how i do always... no, mirror up, no remote control and no correct head for my tripod...

but the light was too beautiful...

The shot is exquisite Giorgio. The light is fabulous, and if it is a little soft, I think that that suits the subject.

I really think that the light is the best aspect of the shot, but the subject and focus look pretty good to me as well.

It looks sharp enough to me - and fabulous.
I presume that it's looking at its casing that it emerged out of.

Giorgio, you are right about the light. The light accents your subject very well. Sharpness is not that bad either. All in all a great shot.

Still a great image - does mirror up make a lot of difference? I will often use 2 second timer but seldom mirror up / live view.

Did you actively try to position yourself at 90 degrees to the long axis of the damsel so as to include it all in the limited DOF?
