The shot is exquisite Giorgio. The light is fabulous, and if it is a little soft, I think that that suits the subject. |

I really think that the light is the best aspect of the shot, but the subject and focus look pretty good to me as well. |

It looks sharp enough to me - and fabulous.
I presume that it's looking at its casing that it emerged out of. |

Giorgio, you are right about the light. The light accents your subject very well. Sharpness is not that bad either. All in all a great shot. |

Still a great image - does mirror up make a lot of difference? I will often use 2 second timer but seldom mirror up / live view.
Did you actively try to position yourself at 90 degrees to the long axis of the damsel so as to include it all in the limited DOF? |
