 This was taken in the industrial estate main road where my studio is based. Exposure was in manual mode and set to heavily under exposure the whole scene to bring the mood to the sky and keep the surroundi gs dark to enhance the industrial setting. The aperture was set fairly wide to pop the model from the surroundings.

A 580EXII was then setup close to the model and triggered using FlexTTLs to light just the model.

Post prossessing was then a run through photomatix for the tonemapping. The model was then converted on a lightroom adjustment on the original raw and then masked over the tonmapped image. Then some minor NR and USM and light dodge and burn.

I like the DOF , bokeh in the foreground & background. Nice moody feeling to the overall shot. 7 , minor niggle I have is the lighting on the models face being a tad too harsh.
