Trying to do this with limited flash capabilities
was tough. Had white panel reflectors all over!
Had to cut holes in brown cloth under the drink and bottle to shine a light up through it.

Was trying for warm earth tones.

Looks professional, but to many feathers detract

Great shot. The copper drape gives it an elegant touch. I think you overdid the feathers a bit.

Beautiful capture with clear thought given to lighting which is key to an editorial shoot. Personally I find the background a bit odd and IMO the feathers distract a lot from the image. If they were Red Grouse dfeathers that might be different! Still an excellent shot. 9

just a little too much emphasis on your background with the matte going into shine... still, it's a compelling ad - 8.

Excellent composition, the bottle is slightly tilted and a little dark.
nevertheless a good shot

Were any birds plucked for this photo? If so send me the bottle and deduct one point!

Less background would have allowed more focus on the product. Did you pluck a bird for this shot? :-)

No actual grouses were harmed in the making of this advertisement. Contrast and color are extremely good, but highlights are a bit harsh. Maybe a difuser (paper, white sheet, lingere?!) and a slightly longer exposure would solve that.

Nice set up and color palateb ut a bit more light on the bottle would have helped.

Nicely done. The feathers add a nice touch and I love the hanging curtains in the background.

Composition is very unstructured, the elements don't have a visual relationship ot each other only contextual.
