 Combination of four exposures. Lots of layers and Topaz Adjust and whatnottery.

I deliberately overcooked this for the sake of the challenge to play up its HDR-ness. If I were processing it other than for this challenge, it wouldn't be nearly so HDR contrasty whoa.

Thanks for all the votes and the comments! The criticisms about cropping were particularly useful. I'm thinking about fixing this up to get it printed and I'll be revisiting my cropping options. Thanks again.

This knocks me over - it's so beautiful. Can't understand why it didn't do better.... talk about severely underrated... Most excellent work, Damon.

IMHO I think this one should have done better. I think the voters didn't do a good job on this one. Well done shot, should have gotten at least top 10. Well done!!! (Fav'd)

Nice effect on the long exposure water and the silhouetted plant stalks and the plants in the lower right corner. The blurred blobs on the left and the trees at the top don't add anything. A much tighter crop might help.

Lovely capture and well processed. I may have cropped slightly tighter on the right side to exclude a little of the wall which tends to draw my eye away from the beauty of the waterfall.
