I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives: I like unusual portraits and this is no exception. The juxtaposition of the cute kid, manic expression and funky processing make this a stand-out image.
Critical stuff: Although I like the high key look, I think the highlights could be controlled a bit better.
Overall: Intriguing stuff, glad to have viewed it. |

This photograph is superb. Really really excellent.
There's a hint of her eyes. That's the only thing I'd change in it -- show more eye.
If I could vote in this challenge 9 or 10 for sure. |

| So fierce...in a grungy high key sorta way! I like the departure from the standard "cute little girl" images. |

| I love the expression of the child, but the heavy blow out on her forehead is a little too much for my liking and I would have preferred a clean white background - composition is great! |
