This church....although having had a major face lift now, is well over 100 years old. It was the church that my father was Christened in, my parents married in and myself and my brothers also Christened in. It has GREAT sentimental value to me and I drove back to my childhood area to get this shot when this challenge came up. It may not have scored well, but I am glad that I did go back to photograph it! :)

As it happens, I do think before I comment, and I thought before I commented on this photo, too. There is no indication in this photo that the main entrance to the church is downhill, nor of what the arrow is pointing to. The arrow is, in fact, pointing down the hill and out of the frame. Combine this inarguable point with your title and the implications--although evidently not what you intended--are clear. I might suggest that you think about the possible interpretations of your photographs before you submit them. You could also consider taking comments with a grain of salt.

I wish you would have popped a flash on the sign to make it stand out more. I didn't notice it until after I read the title.

I like the duotone processing.

Heaven is apparently downhill and out of the frame. Interesting reversal of traditional Christian teachings.

Here are the problems I see: color cast, objects blocking my view (street sign, 3-limbed tree, and electrical cables. Perhaps a different view point would have been a better choice.
